Dr. Erica Dorsey grew up in Boston and completed her undergraduate studies at Becker College in 2020.  She earned her veterinary medical degree from Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2024. Following graduation, she completed a nine month emergency and critical care mentorship program and worked as a staff emergency veterinarian at Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital. 

She joined the team at Canton Veterinary Hospital in October of 2025 after deciding to transition from Emergency Medicine to General Practice. With her background in emergency medicine, she is excited to bring her experience with urgent and complex conditions to everyday wellness care. She has special interests in pain management and physical rehabilitation. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in nature with her husband and their dog, Kona.
