Dr. Scott is a 2007 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine and has been practicing small animal veterinary medicine at The Canton Veterinary Hospital since May of 2007. Dr. Scott grew up in Woburn MA. Before pursuing her degree in veterinary medicine she received her Bachelor of Arts in French Literature with a minor in business and her Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry from Bridgewater State College. Dr. Scott excels in surgery and performs surgical procedures for her patients twice a week. She is also excellent in preventative and wellness care and pain management and provides comfort to patients of all ages. Dr. Scott says, “I enjoy surgery and shelter medicine. One of the saddest most challenging and most rewarding aspects of the job is end of life care. Although difficult, I appreciate the dignity with which we can let our patients go and I am glad to be able to provide this care to our clients.” Dr. Scott currently has two dogs- a Lab named Flounder and a Doberman Poodle mix named Flipper. She also has 3 cats Novak, Uloo and Anchovy. In her spare time Dr. Scott keeps her mind sharp with reading, puzzles, and jeopardy. She also enjoys gardening and cooking.
