Dr. Sonal Kango earned her veterinary degree from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, Scotland. Growing up in Massachusetts, her passion for veterinary medicine began at a young age through horseback riding and caring for animals, which naturally led her down this career path. Dr. Kango thoroughly enjoyed her time living in Scotland, but ultimately chose to return to Massachusetts and to join the team at CVH, where she was drawn to the practice’s strong connection with the local community.

She enjoys working with both large and small animals, with special interests in small animal surgery, ophthalmology, and a growing interest in internal medicine. Dr. Kango is grateful for the support and guidance of her mentors at the clinic, and feels that CVH is a wonderful place to begin her career as a veterinary professional. Outside of work, she enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, spending time with friends, and traveling.
